We're just hours away from Idaho's first-ever Learn & Burn Fire Demonstration, and we couldn't be more excited to share this groundbreaking event with you! Whether you're a registered attendee or part of the EarthCraft network, here are the essential details for tomorrow's demonstration.
LOCATION: 2393 W Airport Way, Boise, ID 83705
EVENT DETAILS
Date: Tomorrow - SATURDAY, JULY 12th
Event Start: 9:30 AM - for SAFETY BRIEFING, please arrive at 9:30 AM
Live Fire Demo: 10:00 AM
Q&A Session: Following the burn demonstration
Event End: 12:00/1:00 PM
WHAT TO EXPECT
9:30 AM: Welcome and introduction to the demonstration
10:00 AM: THE BURN - Live fire testing of straw bale walls vs. conventional construction
Post-Burn: Interactive Q&A with the experts
Throughout the event: Learning stations and expert discussions
Important Parking Information
✅ DO Park: Wildland Firefighter Foundation main parking lot
❌ DO NOT Park: The gravel lot on the west side of the property
Please note: The west gravel lot will be used as the burn location and is off-limits for parking. Please use only the main Wildland Firefighter Foundation parking lot.
Safety First
This demonstration will be conducted under professional fire safety supervision with all appropriate safety measures in place. Our team of fire professionals will ensure both dramatic results and complete safety for all attendees.

We're thrilled to announce that EarthCraft Design Build will be hosting a Straw Bale Workshop in late August at the Bitter Brush Straw Bale Project in the Central Foothills of Boise.
This hands-on workshop will allow you to learn straw bale construction techniques directly from our experienced team. More details and registration information will be announced soon - STAY TUNED to our communications for updates!
