STRAW BALE WORKSHOP: THE DETAILS
Are you interested in learning about sustainable home construction?
Have you ever heard of a straw bale house? Want to learn more?
Would you like to help build a straw bale wall of a house in Boise?
When: Saturday April 27 & Sunday April 28th
Time: 10am - 4pm each day
Where: 1350 E. Dumars St. in East Boise (off Pierce St.)
What to Bring: Water, gloves, safety glasses or sunglasses, close toed shoes, hat and appropriate clothing to work.
JOIN US SATURDAY APRIL 27TH
Learn what it’s like to live in a straw bale house.
Learn the basics of straw bale construction (cost, logistics, advantages).
Be a part of building a straw bale wall.
JOIN US SUNDAY APRIL 28TH
Learn the steps to take a wall from straw bale to finished exterior and interior.
Be a part of prepping a wall for the first layer of mud.
